How Top Tarn

How Top Tarn really is in a beautiful spot, with an atmosphere and surroundings more akin to a village pond than a typical Lakeland tarn. My big criticism here, is why on earth don't they tidy the tarn up a bit. Get rid of the bracken from around the tarn, remove the weeds from the tarn itself, keep the grass cut and add a few pick-nick tables. The end result would be a worthy Lakeland beauty spot; albeit on a miniature scale.
For those visiting Grasmere this is an incredibly easy place to reach, simply carry on walking up the road past Dove Cottage.
