Roadside, Harrow Head, Wasdale

There aren't many places here I'm afraid. However, because the spaces are still some distance from the much busier parts of Wasdale, you'll generally be able to find a space here.

Route Map

Tosh Tarn.
Now the day's are longer I've managed to get out for this years first Friday afternoon straight from work walk.

The Scafells from Buckbarrow.

From Buckbarrow looking across to Sellafield and the Irish Sea.

Seatallan from near Glade How.

From just below Seatallan summit looking down the path to Cat Bields.
Buckbarrow and Glade How can be seen on the left of Cat Bields. The route I took didn't follow the path, instead I took a straight line route from Glade How the place I took this picture from.

Seatallan summit.
There was a surprisingly cold northerly wind for most of the walk. There was no hanging around on the summit today, I took a couple of picture then headed straight for Greendale Tarn.

Snowing on the Scafells from the route off Seatallan.

A little further on looking over Yewbarrow to Kirk Fell, Great Gable, Lingmell and the Scafells.

Almost the same view. This time with a little more sunshine.

Greendale Tarn.

Haycock from near Greendale Tarn.

Middle Fell summit.

Wastwater with Lingmell and the Scafells from Middle Fell.

Wastwater and the Screes.

Scafell almost from the bottom of Middle Fell.
