Mungrisdale Village

Mungrisdale is without doubt a small place but it does still have a couple of different options for parking. Rather than list them separately, I've simply grouped them together as Mungrisedale Village. The map shows the various places on offer.

Another picture looking back along our route.

This is the little bridge we used to cross the River Glenderamackin below White Horse Bent.
The dark pointed fell at the back is Sharp Edge / Atkinson Pike.

From the path up to Souther Fell looking down to the route we'd just been walking along.

Taken a little further up the path with Clough Head and Great Dodd on the left and the North Western fells in the distance on the right.

Souther fell's grassy ridge.

Great Mell Fell in the foreground and a hazy Loadpot Hill ridge behind.

Low Beckside and High Beckside farms.
