Roadside, The Hause (Little Mell Fell)

More often than not, The Hause is used as a point for quick access to Little Mell Fell. And although I've done this myself on many occasions, there are actually a decent selection of walk that could be done from here. There aren't many spaces, but you'll rarely have a problem getting parked here.

From the roadside near Old Park. The two hazy fells in the distance are Great Dodd and Clough Head.

It was a real scorcher today so it turned out that this walk was just right for these condition. The views from the higher fells would have been almost none existent and the long up hill sections would have been a hard slog.

After leaving the Ulcat Row road we followed this footpath through some lovely countryside around the Dockray side of Gowbarrow Fell.

And not so close up.
