Starting Point Information Centre -
Roadside parking, Binsey Cottage
There isn't much room along here I'm afraid; four cars if you're lucky. Then again, and quite wrongly in my opinion, Binsey has a reputation of being an "also visited" fell, so the chances are that you'll still get a parking space.
Route Map

Tonight we're meant to be delivering family birthday presents. However, we were asked not to turn up until "anytime after 6:30". That's handy I said to Jennifer, I'll come home after work, pick you up and we can have a short walk out before going there. So, here we are looking towards the Skiddaw Fells from the bottom of Binsey which offers a nice short walk and is more or less on the way.

Overwater and the Uldale fells.

Looking across to the summit.

Binsey summit cairn, shelter and trig column.

And to finish, we head back down with very hazy views of the fells in the distance.
